Len has 30 years of public sector experience and 15 as Municipal Manager. His first appointment was at 28.

Len is a senior extraordinary lecturer at the School of Public Leadership, University of Stellenbosch and educates BPA Honours learners on Local Governance.

He has a Doctorate in Administration, an MBA and a Post-graduate Qualification in Management, as well as qualifications in Local Government Administration, Personnel Management  and Public Health.

Len has chaired the oversight committee, disciplinary board and the audit committee of Stellenbosch Municipality.

Senior Researcher

Elsje joined the Ultimate team in 2018 and takes responsibility for research and quality control.

She has a BSc and Post-Graduate Certificate in Education and applies her meticulous and detailed mindset to the editorial care and quality control of all Ultimate products.

Elsje was responsible for the editorial care of the 2016 Stellenbosch annual report, IDP of City of Drakenstein and products for HRM Connect/BVSA, as well as products developed by Ultimate.
