Supply Chain Management
Project Client Summary
SOPs and Expenditure Management GIZ Development of Standard Operating Procedures and Strategies on Expenditure Management along with training for 8 GIZ partner municipalities.
SCM review and analysis City of Drakenstein The assessment focused on all the elements of SCM with a gap analysis guiding an action plan that Ultimate monitored on behalf of the City Manager.
SCM review and analysis Beaufort West LM The assessment focused on all problem areas identified by the CFO and MM. Recommendations and assistance was provided.
SCM review and analysis GIZ The review and analysis at 8 partner municipalities led to an assessment of each staff member in various aspects of Supply Chain Management. Organisational Culture and Audit Readiness are only two examples of the eight factors considered during the assessment. The outcome was a workshop where Ultimate presented the model to 150 members of Treasury. OCPO adopted the model for Local Government.
SCM review and analysis NT We completed the assessment and are busy with the competency assessment of SCM units. We will thereafter develop customised training solutions for every SCM staff member of the 8 municipalities.
SCM GIZ / Amathole DM and Inxuba Yethemba LM Development of Performance Management Framework for the Amathole District Municipality and Inxuba Yethemba Local Municipality.
Training products GOPA Development and facilitation of improvement products in the SCM units of 8 municipalities in Mpumalanga and Eastern Cape.
Mentorship GOPA Training for the SCM value chain in 8 selected municipalities. This was followed by functional mentorship of smaller groups of SCM staff in order to facilitate change and transformation in the organisational culture from compliance to achieving value.
